About us & our Friends

LaDistro is a logical continuation as we started this with the label "Folklore de la Zone Mondiale" since 2004. Our collective spent a lot of time to build a independant and direct distribution about counter-culture, diy and punk scene (and more). Today, LaDistro is a cooperative with many labels, bands, writers and artists on his catalog, generally so many men and women we appreciate for a while.

Our cooperative works on ethical and fairtrade with all the people who are presented here. Independance and autoproduction are the ways, in a real alternative to the music industry. If our prices are lower than the cultural supermarket, it is only because we work directly with the bands. We think that is possible to work differently, thanks to internet, without capitalist finality.

All the references on our catalog are selected by one of the 3 members of the cooperative, with the goal to offer a large choice that cover "historic pieces" of the radical and political punk movement. These Records appears to us so important in a perspective to build our scene with a collective memory.
